This two day course is an introduction to tactical shotgun handling techniques for the instructor.
Attendees must have prior instructor status. This is not an instructor development certification course.
The course will focus on:
Tactical shotgun characteristics
Developing tactical shotgun courses of fire
Teaching combat loading and tactical reloading
Options for select loading of special application munitions
Transitions to handgun
Use of cover and movement
Independent decision making and non-combatants in the foreground and background
Training safety, documentation of training, liability issues and more
Student Equipment Requirements:
Any 12 Gauge pump or semi-auto law
enforcement shotgun
Handgun, holster, 2 extra magazines or speedy loaders and pouches
Wrap around eye protection
Brimmed hat
Hearing protection (over the ear)
150rounds of low recoil buckshot, 20 rounds of slug, 100 rounds
of handgun ammunition
Recommended Optional Equipment:
Sling, three point/tactical sling preferred
Extra shotgun ammo carrier (sidesaddle, speedfeed stock, belt loop or other)
Ghost ring sights
Rain gear (class will continue in inclement weather)
Knee pads and shooting gloves

AIMPRO Tactical Shotgun for
Operators
This is the ultimate one day, shooting intensive introduction to tactical
techniques for field operators.

The new AIMPROtacticalBallistic Breaching Course
Introduces SWAT/SRT members and Patrol Supervisors and Officers to
basic and advanced use of the 12 gauge shotgun as an entry tool.
Interior
and exterior doors, (lock sets/hinges), security bars, chain link,
padlocks and other entry challenges, including active shooter
scenarios, will be covered.
The AIMPROtactical Breaching Course incorporates anti-personnel threats as an integral part of entry tactics.
Dedicated breaching guns and equipment are encouraged. Standard patrol shotguns of any type may be used.
Several of our new breaching models, (with and without Ghost Ring® sights), will be available for students use.
A
demonstration of PolyShok "Impact Reactive Ammunition" will be held
during the course and samples of PolyShok munitions will be available
for student drills.
